Rural Doctors Network (RDN) exists to improve the health and wellbeing of people living in remote, rural, regional, Aboriginal and under-resourced communities. RDN administers services, builds capacity, mobilises knowledge and works collaboratively across the full range of stakeholders to support better health outcomes for communities in need.

RDN Services:
To help build and sustain access to quality healthcare in remote, rural, regional and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, RDN delivers a range of services including:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Engagement
- Administration of health access Outreach programs in NSW and the ACT
- Career management support, scholarships and grants
- Collaborative Care Program
- Collaborative Commissioning: Care Partnership Diabetes
- Future workforce support including student scholarships, rural immersion and mentoring programs
- Knowledge mobilisation, collation and dissemination of rural health workforce data
- New GP Orientation Workshops
- Practice management support
- Recruitment support for GPs, locums, nurses, midwives and allied health professionals
- Regional workforce and stakeholder coordination, and town-based workforce planning
- Rural Health Pro – the online community for health care professionals
- Rural health news aggregation, publishing and podcasting
- Rural health policy formulation and advocacy
