RDN presents at Health Forum hosted by NSW Country Mayors Association
19th August 2024

RDN CEO, Richard Colbran was joined by colleagues from RDN’s Service Delivery programs to present at the most recent NSW Country Mayors Association’s Health Forum held at NSW Parliament on 9 August 2024.
The New South Wales Country Mayors Association (CMA) is an incorporated body formed to speak for the residents of regional and rural New South Wales.
RDN was honoured to be invited to the Forum and to have the opportunity to present and speak with a variety of community members on RDN’s Community Solutions, Health Access and Outreach and Workforce Solutions programs and initiatives.
The team representing RDN spoke about RDN’s approach and ways of working with community collaboratively, and took part in a panel where questions from the Mayors were discussed collectively.
The Forums hosted by the CMA aim to facilitate discussions to help find solutions to the growing list of issues affecting health in rural and regional communities. RDN has an MOU with the CMA, and also with the Central NSW Joint Organisation (CNSWJO), with a key focus of both MOUs being to improve health outcomes, and health access, in line with RDN’s vision for ‘Healthier Australians – no matter where they live’.
