Ros moved to Canowindra in 2006 and shared that it was “a no brainer to come back to Canowindra” after finishing her training at Orange Base hospital. Ros is a GP who has served both Canowindra and Cowra over the last 16 years and was a CWA member for 12 of them.

The CWA is the largest women's organisation in Australia and aims to improve conditions for country women and children by lobbying for change, helping the local community, creating a network of support and meeting together in towns and cities. Members also enjoy cooking, handicraft, art and creative writing competitions as well as teaching skills to others.

On behalf of everyone at RDN, congratulations to the Canowindra Branch of the CWA and thank you for your tireless efforts advocating for the health needs of your community.
