RDN Member Benefits 2024

26th February 2024

What do Rural Doctors Network (RDN), Regional Australia Bank, Shell Australia, Booktopia and Chateau Elan all have in common? These businesses all share a passion for, love of, and commitment to benefiting, rural and remote communities and now…the proof is in the pudding (or perhaps we should say, scone)!

Less than one month ago, you and our fellow Monday Message readers, were encouraged to apply for, and start benefiting from, a FREE Rural Doctors Network (RDN) Membership with the promise that even more, exclusive new member benefits would soon be announced.

Well, have the RDN Membership team delivered on their promise!

RDN membership partners supporting rural health professionals

RDN is proud to announce it has partnered with the following organisations to offer even more exclusive RDN Member discounts and incentives including:

  • Regional Australia Bank – competitive discounts and benefits across its range of financial products
  • Shell Australia – We all know rural and regional Australians can travel long distances to reach health services or support networks such as friends and family. To make life a little easier, Shell is offering RDN Members a significant discount on Shell fuel!
  • Booktopia – RDN Members will now have access to a catalogue of over 6 million titles across more than 2,500 categories, all available with a special discount. Members can also shop games, puzzles and a range of stationery, including journals, diaries, calendars and more.
  • Chateau Elan – the Hunter Valley’s award-winning spa, golfing and holiday destination is offering RDN Members discounts off the best available rate for both 1 and 2+ night stays. Guests also have access to discounted green fees and Spa specials.

Become an RDN Member Today

RDN Membership is FREE and open to anyone with an interest in rural health (not just doctors) and you’re encouraged to become an RDN Member and start benefiting now!

These offers are in addition to the existing benefits including discounted conference and event registrations (amongst many others). RDN Stakeholder Manager, Lisa Connors, says RDN believes in going the extra mile to show appreciation for its members’ support, and she’s thrilled to announce more benefits.

“Not only is becoming an RDN Member free, but now we have curated a fantastic collection of exclusive discount codes and member-only incentives by working with like-minded businesses who share our vision for supporting rural and regional communities,” Lisa said.

“Each of the businesses RDN has chosen to work with, share values that align with the goals and objectives of RDN - to invest in, support, and create healthier outcomes for local regional communities,” she said.

“We are very grateful to the businesses who have recognised the importance of our members and their contribution to rural and regional NSW and we look forward to expanding our offerings even more in the future,” Lisa said.

As a membership-based organisation, RDN works with, and for, its members throughout the sector to support the welfare and progress of remote, rural and regional health care professionals, businesses and the communities that help them thrive.

Regional Australia Bank now an RDN partner

Regional Australia Bank is delighted to partner with RDN and says it’s “committed to empowering RDN to continue establishing and maintaining access to exceptional multidisciplinary healthcare for all Australians, regardless of their geographical location”.

Further highlighting their commitment to investing in regional NSW, Regional Australia Bank has just opened a new Wagga Wagga branch, expanding their network at a time when many other banks are closing up shop in rural and regional areas.

“At Regional Australia Bank, we believe in the power of financial inclusivity and the positive impact it can have on regional communities,” said CEO of Regional Australia Bank, David Heine.

“Our expansion is a testament to our unwavering commitment to this cause,” he said.
