Governor General congratulates RDN on 35 years of service

Ahead of the inaugural National Rural and Remote Health Awards held at Parliament House during Rural Health Month, RDN CEO Richard Colbran, Deputy Chair Thomas Douch and Director Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Engagement Nicole Turner were invited to Government House, Canberra, for an audience with the Governor General, His Excellency General the Hon David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), as part of RDN's 35th anniversary celebrations.

The Governor General spoke of the need to support healthcare in remote, rural and regional Australia and congratulated RDN on its efforts to build and sustain access to healthcare in these communities.
