Record attendance at Coogee for Rural Health Month conferences
27th November 2023
Over the weekend and late last week, NSW Rural Doctors Network (RDN) was very pleased to support Rural Health Pro in hosting the largest gathering of the multidisciplinary rural health workforce in Australia, with hundreds of GPs, nurses, medical students, practice managers and rural health professionals coming together at the Crowne Plaza Coogee and online for Rural Health Month 2023.
Rural Health Month is a project conceived by RDN's Rural Health Pro to bring together professionals from all corners of the rural health landscape. Now in its fourth year, it offers unparalleled multidisciplinary networking opportunities through events and activities focused specifically on rural health, including RDN’s Rural GPs conference, Rural Practice Managers Conference, the Medical Student Rural Inspiration Conference, and much more.
“This year's Rural Health Month was our biggest yet and we welcomed more than 900 multidisciplinary delegates from across the country for a variety of professional development, educational and networking events,” said Rural Health Pro Conference & Events Manager Lindsey Eifler.
“It was fantastic to see a broad range of professions coming together, united by their passion for improving rural health outcomes and keeping rural communities healthy.”
