RDN Rural Resident Medical Officer Cadet showcases research at RMA23
30th October 2023
Current RDN Rural Resident Medical Officer Cadet, and medical student at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Pip Kensit, attended the Rural Medicine Australia RMA Conference (RMA23) in Hobart last week, an official pre-Wonca event hosted by the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and the Rural Doctors Association Australia.
Pip said she was excited to be part of the RMA23 Conference and showcase her research ‘An Evaluation of the Rural Resident Medical Officer Cadetship Program’.
“This would not be possible without the incredible support of my supervisor Louise and the Knowledge Mobilisation team at the NSW Rural Doctors Network, and of course the support of the University of Notre Dame Australia,” Pip said.
“Thanks also to my executive team at the National Rural Health Student Network,” she said.
RDN, on behalf of NSW Health, offers 48 Cadetships to medical students interested in undertaking a medical career in rural NSW.
