Receptionists Development Day

Reception staff play such an important role in the health care team! To help facilitate their professional development, RDN and COORDINARE PHN last week partnered to deliver three Receptionist Development Days across south eastern NSW. 

It was a great turnout, with 70 reception staff in attendance, learning from the expertise of Practice Management guru Mr Gary Smith (on behalf of UNEP). 

Gary covered topics as diverse as the introduction of MyMedicare, the future of General Practice and the role of Care Coordinators, the importance of recall and reminder systems, team based care and much more. 

Workshops were held in Worrigee on Tuesday, Bega on Wednesday and Queanbeyan on Thursday.
