RDN Cadet Series Podcast: Dr Kirbie Storrier

When Dr Kirbie Storrier was asked what advice she'd give to anyone considering applying for an RDN Cadetship, she replied "Do it, apply for it, 100%, right now, you should have already applied, what are you waiting for?"

Dr Storrier had dreamed of becoming a doctor since childhood because her farmer father, who has a chronic disease, had found it difficult to get the treatment he needed. 

As a psychiatry registrar at Dubbo Health Service, Dr Storrier recently shared her story on the Destination Medicine Podcast of how she felt supported by her RDN Cadetship to make her dream a reality.

RDN has collaborated with the Destination Medicine podcast to launch a special mini-series focusing on rural cadetships.
