Applicants - Nursing & Allied Health
You can get started by submitting a CV with your online application form to the NSW Rural Doctors Network (RDN) and we will endeavour to match you up with a suitable employer. Our search page lists all of our current vacancies.
At RDN, we have worked with GPs for more than 25 years to help them relocate throughout rural and regional NSW and for the last 4 we have been working with nursing, allied health and dental professionals. We understand that it can be a daunting challenge to move you and your family to a new town - whether that’s from Sydney, interstate or from overseas - but we are here to assist you through the challenges and questions that you will probably have.
In our experience, many people would like to make a move to the country but don’t really know how to go about it or are nervous about committing to a new community. We're here to help you work through that process and make sure you're prepared to make the best of your new rural life in a community that is suited to you.
Once we have identified a job vacancy that is suitable for you, we will contact the employer and submit your application to them. Hopefully we can then progress you to an interview and, ultimately, a job offer.
We have tips for you on preparing your CV and application as well as getting prepared for the interview:
International applicants can be nervous about the registration and immigration process. Our experienced staff at RDN can guide you through the paperwork.
We have documented registration pathways for nursing and many allied health professions and can provide you with an easy guide to help you prepare your application.
