Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services
The NSW Rural Doctors Network (RDN) supports NSW Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHSs) in collaboration with the Aboriginal Health & Medical Research Council of NSW (AH&MRC).
ACCHSs are major providers of health services in many rural and remote areas, and focus on delivering wholistic and culturally appropriate primary health care services to the Aboriginal communities they serve. Their importance in treating Aboriginal people is well recognised.
Further information about ACCHS is available at the AH&MRC website, including a current list of ACCHS and other Aboriginal Community Controlled health related services.
