Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services

The Rural Doctors Network (RDN) supports NSW Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHSs) in collaboration with the Aboriginal Health & Medical Research Council of NSW (AH&MRC).

ACCHS are incorporated Aboriginal organisations, initiated by, and based in, local Aboriginal communities. They aim to deliver holistic and culturally appropriate health services to the community. They are major providers of health services in many rural and remote areas, with their importance in treating Aboriginal people well recognised.

Further information about ACCHS is available at the AH&MRC website, including a current list of ACCHS and other Aboriginal Community Controlled health related services.
