Bush Bursary and Country Women’s Association (CWA) Scholarship applications open today!

Applications for Rural Doctors Network (RDN) Bush Bursary and Country Women’s Association (CWA) Scholarships are now open from today, 5 May until 28 July 2025. 

Applications are open to nursing students, midwifery students and medical students for Bush Bursary and CWA Scholarships. Selected students will spend two weeks on placement in country NSW during university holidays.

RDN Bush Bursaries and CWA Scholarships provide selected students with up to $1,500 to assist with costs associated with participating in the program, including travel, meals, and other discretionary spending.

The program is funded by individual rural councils and community groups across NSW and scholarships are funded by the Country Women's Association of NSW. Both are administered by RDN.
