3rd March 2025
Applications are now open for RDN’s highly-anticipated first Go Rural student road trip for 2025.
From 27-30 March, Go Rural will be taking students on a tour of the beautiful central northern region of NSW, with stops at Mudgee, Coonabarabran, Moree, Warialda and Tamworth.
This trip is open to first and second-year medical students, and ANY YEAR nursing, midwifery, paramedicine and allied health students - but be quick as there are only 20 spots available!
With a packed itinerary featuring some inspiring speakers, amazing facilities and plenty of opportunities to connect with local communities and potential future colleagues, this is a trip not to be missed.
Go Rural road trips offer an incredible opportunity for students to see first-hand the benefits of working rurally and form part of RDN's program of rural immersion experiences designed to encourage students towards a career in rural health.
Apply now!
Applications close Sunday 9 March 2025 at 10pm.
Go Rural is funded by the Department of Health and Aged Care (DoHAC) and administered by Rural Doctors Network (RDN).
