Applications NOW OPEN for Outreach Student Placement Program (OSPP)

Applications are officially open for the Rural Doctors Network’s (RDN) Outreach Student Placement Program (OSPP)!

OSPP is the perfect opportunity to experience a day in the life of an Outreach Provider and get a taste of what working in healthcare is like in the bush, with 1-2 day clinic placements available.  

OSPP provides selected medical, nursing and allied health students in NSW/ACT with the opportunity to shadow an Outreach Provider including GPs, physiotherapists, nurses, optometrists and many more across other disciplines.  

With all travel, accommodation and subsistence costs covered for placements and more than 100 placements to choose from, get in fast to apply and register your preferred locations! 

Whether you’re interested in obstetrics, haematology, Indigenous health, endocrinology, podiatry, ophthalmology, occupational therapy or many more, the OSPP has something to offer—but get in quick! Applications close Monday 17 March 2025.
