Survey invitation: Help inform RDN’s Health Workforce Needs Assessment

RDN is inviting GPs and Practice Managers to participate in our annual General Practitioner (GP) Survey and Practice Manager Survey as part of our commitment to using evidence-based approaches to program planning and priority setting. The surveys will remain open until the 13 December 2024.  

Data from this survey informs the Health Workforce Needs Assessment (HWNA) that RDN completes each year. The HWNA is a critical component of designing and implementing activities to support access to essential health care. 

The Summary Report (linked below) is available on under the News and Publications tab of our website, and focuses on health workforce needs in rural New South Wales and current challenges and solutions to support sustainable access to healthcare for rural communities.    

The Report is informed by RDN health workforce surveys, along with input from stakeholders and available datasets. It also advocates for rural health policy and investment to support the development of high quality, scalable and sustainable health solutions that respond to local needs.
