Rural Doctors Network (RDN) invites you to the New GP Orientation Workshop, being held at Rydges, Port Macquarie on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th of March.
This CPD/PDP accredited workshop is designed to set you up for success in your new role and covers:
- General Practice in rural NSW
- Medico-legal considerations
- MBS, PBS & DVA
- WorkCover
- Pathways to Fellowship
- Mental Health
- Indigenous Health
- Women's Health
- Patient centred communication to motivate behaviour change
While this workshop includes invited participants, we welcome expressions of interest from all new rural general practitioners who feel this training would benefit their practice. If you would like to attend, please contact our team at retention@nswrdn.com.au.
Funding opportunities: You may be eligible for support with course fees, accommodation, and travel through either the Health Workforce Scholarship Program (HWSP) or Education and Training funds linked to the Pre Fellowship Program (PFP).
