Become an RDN Member

Membership of the NSW Rural Doctors Network (RDN) is open to anyone with an interest in rural health. Membership is FREE (there is no annual subscription fee) and provides the following benefits:

Subsidised attendance at family-friendly RDN's CPD conferences
Weekly electronic bulletin updates on rural medical workforce issues and RDN activities via the Monday Message
Voting rights at the Annual General Meeting
Annual copy of the RDN Reference Book

Membership Categories

Primary Membership: Any registered medical practitioner having substantial recent rural medical experience (as determined by the RDN Board) or currently practising in rural NSW, may apply in writing (via the online application form) to the Company for admission as a Primary Member of the Company. A Primary Member shall have all the rights conferred on a member including the right to attend and to vote at Annual General Meetings of the Company. For the purpose of debate and management processes, Primary Members shall from time to time appoint delegates to represent their interests.

Associate Membership: Any person wishing to support the aims and objectives of the Company (whether being a registered medical practitioner or not) may apply in writing (via the online application form) to the Company for admission as an Associate Member of the Company. An Associate Member shall have all the rights conferred on a member including the right to attend, but not to vote at Annual General Meetings of the Company.

Membership Register: A Register of Primary and Associate Members of the Company is kept in the office of RDN. Members shall notify the Secretary in writing of any change in that member's address within a period of one month following such change. In the event that a member wishes to resign from the Company, that member must put such resignation notice in writing to the Secretary at secretariat@nswrdn.com.au
