NSW Rural Doctors Network

The NSW Rural Doctors Network (RDN) provides support for a continuing and high quality rural medical workforce in NSW. RDN develops and administers a number of programs to improve the recruitment and retention of General Practitioners (GPs) in rural and remote NSW, as well as providing a central information resource for rural medical support initiatives in NSW, Australia.

RDN is a not for profit, non government organisation with approximately 700 Doctor members. It is funded by both the NSW state government and Australian federal government. RDN works with the NSW Rural Doctors Association (RDA) - an industrial and medical political body - and the 20 rural Divisions of General Practice in regionalised areas of NSW, to support general practice.
